About Me

Laura: S. Ca., United States; So, I'm sitting in the chair at the hairdresser and I look down at my jeans and I see beautiful splashes of paint. On MY jeans. Oh my, oh my. I think I am an artist! For years I have been drawing, doodling, even sustaining occasional bouts of crafting and dismissing my efforts as 'interesting messes'. Then one day, I complained to an accomplished artist friend that I couldn't draw. She picked up the piece I'd been working on and said, "Of course you can draw. You draw like this." And now I am wearing paint spattered jeans in public. It feels good to be an artist. I'm ready, lets go.
